You can customize alert rule to send data feed with visitor information into custom URL address.
This is useful in following cases:
- add visitor into mailing list automatically
- update your own software with user information and number of previous visits
- send automated email to visitor
Automated email can include:
- product discount, if user visited particular Product page
- send media pack, if user visited Advertising page
- send welcome email, if user visited Contact page but did not contact you
